I grew mushrooms a few months ago and they've dried out. When growing I didn't notice any contamination but how can I be certain that there is no contamination? Please help.

your post is a bit confusing, take a good wiff. it should smell like fresh mushrooms. if so, you are reasonably safe to eat them. dried mushrooms have little smell. not sure what you are asking.
