First time getting this far

Well, after four unsuccessful contaminations of previous jars, the fifth batch finally made it. I didn't realize what the hell I was getting myself into when I decided to start growing psilocybes. It's defiantly not as easy as all these teks make it sound. I built a damn glove box out of plexi glass as my finally resolve, with much success. Zero contaminates in 24 jars!!! Now that they are 99% colonized I am wondering What next? Would it be a good idea to case for a newbie? Or just stick with fruiting via PF style? Also, if every thing goes right how much dry weight can I expect per cake?

well im no expert either but i would say keep 20 in cakes to fruit and maybe try to case 4 of them. that way you will def. get some srrooms off the 20 cakes and in another week the cased ones will fruit, and stay fruiting longer. how much do you know about casing? i just cased a few outdoor patches yesterday with cow dung, and i have one cased with peat moss. im not sure what is 'better' yet, for the ps cubensis anyway but the peat moss ones are not doing too well; drying out and some mold on the casing. im not in the best outdoor climate here so im not even sure if these ones outside will fruit but im experimenting. try new things. btw, what are you growing? B+, GT, cubies? mbe i can offer some advice.
