How long will a syringe last?

I have my syringe stored at room temperature for 3-4months. Do you think its still good for inocculation? I noticed that the spores in the water clumped together and formed something that looks like a slimmy grey sphere of cca 3 mm in diameter which can be broken into smaller particles when shaken.
