this is not important, i dont even know why i am posting this, i finally started some jars, and after 2 days in 70-75? temps, colonation has started, i am so happy... i am using mm filter disks, maybe that helped? with this growth, i think it might be colonized in 5 days-a week

yep. i stand by those disks full-heartedly, they own! u expect full colonization in 5days-a week? pretty confident estimate id say. what strain are you growing?

the jars are almost 75% done, and now a layer of black is on the top of one jar? any ideas?

ok, the jars looked 100% colonized, so i cleaned counter, removed, and put in ziplock bags... when i broke them up, 1/2 of them were still fucking brf/verm in middle with like a mm of myc covering all.. the other half was like a cm, but what the fuck? i tried to shake them, event violently, and nothing budged, should i keep them in ziplocks and icubate as usual? or is this a failure?
