Stick it in a clean!!! plastic ziplock, then cover it with another(clean!!!!) Make sure all the air is out and stick in a cool dark place or a clean spot in the fridge.

Out of the box is fine. There is really no need to overally protect your spore syringe if it is going to be used in the next three to five days. A syringe in a ziplock bag and a syringe is a dark cool drawer has no different, unless it has been there for a year or so. Even then, changes are little if any.
