Fuzziness on mushrooms

I have a perlite terrarium and there was one cake that was resting on tin foil and water from the bottom was able to get in and was soaking the cake with excessive water, could that be the cause of the fuzziness? I did a search and people report having a white fuzz but the one I have is definitley more of a yellow, and I couldn't find any pictures so i just wanted to know if they are good or bad.

Mine do that everytime with the bigger ones near the bottom.
I've never had a problem with it though.

That's normal, the fuzziness means the humidity is just a tad high for their taste, but it's perfectly OK.

The mushrooms are very hollow as well, is that a result of the high humidty?

No, that's a strain characteristic.

Yes, I noticed B+ is the most hollow I've seen. Probably Texan was the least hollow, solid little shrooms they were. It varies from strain to strain.

I always hate eating hollow ones fresh, like b+.
I clean them really well, and it looks like some kind of a little asshole or something, this is when im stoned, mind you...

omg...
Anyone know if it affects yields? Like would the Hollow Strain yield the same if grown in identical conditions as the Solid Strain?
Anyone know or have any personal experiences they would like to share? (Or do I need to start a topic on this?)

The only thing different that I know of is the hollow stem makes a weight difference, depending on the size of it.

Well, speaking of hollow mushrooms I have a question.
I am growing the Amazon strain for the first time and have not harvested any, but was curious as to if those are very hollow because I have a shroom coming off of a cake that is the roundest mushroom I've ever seen. I'm kinda curious as to what it is going to weigh but it still has a couple days of growing left.

Best Advice I can give b/c my B+ are not always super hollow is it is a temperature issue. They grow faster in warmer temps but in colder develop more mass becoming more dense. Producing a better weight per mushroom.

Hey, no problem. I'm still around to see the answer!
I have just a little more experience now. That question was back in the beginning.

I agree with this. I've had them be thick as fuck mushies but be fuzzy as fuck on the stem. Fuzzy Feet and Fuzzy stems are two different things.
