The need for artifical humidification

I have seen pics, both on the hawkseye and (i think) the MUSHMUSH posts, that appear to not use any external humidification. They seem to just be in plastic tubs with lids. Also they were casings with compost/dung.

Did I just not see the humdification or was it relying only on mistings?

Those setups that you are talking about just use the moisture in the casing to provide the humidity.

thanks, that what i thought, but I have learned with shrooms it is best not to assume anything.
