A new round...

Starting another 28 jars

Last night my partner and I were brainstorming, and thinking about supplies, so we went to wally world. He got 2 cases (12packs) and we went home. We remembered that he had a MASSIVE pressure cooker so we decided to try to fit all of the jars in them. It turns out that it can fit all of the jars, AND have space for a couple more.

So we mixed up 24 cups of substrate in a trashbag and filled em up, cleaned em off, did em up; you know the deal...

Some of the cakes didnt have enough verm to have the buffer zone so we used polyfil for them.

He PC'd them last night (it took HOURS, lol) and now we are waiting a couple days to make sure that they are sterilized.

We are going to use a couple different strain and split them between casing and standard PF stlye, or if anyone has any really good suggestions

It shouldn't take hours to PC just because you have more jars. Once you hit 15psi, you just need an hr more. Maybe you meant total prep and cook time, which I can understand hehe, my pc holds 24 half pints. It is the 20qt. Presto from Wal-mart.

If you cut off my head, what would I say? Me and my head, or me and my body?
