Could the sudden release (steam shoots out for about 60 seconds) of pressure, be the reason there is low moisture?

Venting the pressure from a PC too quicky can make your jars boil dry, if they have filtered holes in the lid. I filter my grain jars with polyfil.

give it time same thing happened to me i knocked them up two weeks ago and there only now in the past couple of days starting to show signs of life
and thats only half of them the other half might take a month,
this is my first cultivation and I was really looking forward to eating my mushroom (first time also) you cant believe how stressed I was when I checked after a week I thought I wasted all my spores for nothing!

no I stick them in a shoe box ontop of my wardrobe and set the heaters to the ideal temp (they have a censor built in plus i keep a thermometer to be under controll of things)
its hard to fall usleep in a room 85 degres but I think its worth it.

If you shot to the interior, instead of the sides, there may be growth you can't see yet. But it's 17 days now. If they still haven't germinated, that's a LOOOONNNNNGGGG time.

Is there any moisture on the sides of the jars?

Wait, I'm confused. If he was using LC wouldn't that mean that some of the spores had already germinated and are thus viable? That would rule out the vendor as the problem source.

UPDATE

Well I PC 4 jars last night (one is a Karo Tek) and Inculated them all this morning. I used the PF tek for the 3 other jars + an ? inch vermiculite layer, and Tyvek tape!
I only used three holes per lid, but made sure I was below the Verm layer, and next to the glass before I injected. I sealed them back up with another piece of Tyvek tape!

Is there any good reason these shouldn?t work?
How long until I know?
And does anyone think the old jars will still grow?

I will keep you all updated.

Well it is Sunday now, and i have no growth yet?
Is there any reason to still be optimistic?
BTW all my jars are incubated at 83-85* snd the new jars were knocked up over 4 days ago!

Update.

First, Aeolus1369 i was using spores to inoculate a LC, not using a LC to inoculate jars.
Second, Hashface, I really like that name, and yes all of my new pf jars have a little moisture on the inside of the glass, but not a lot, and definitely no water in the bottoms. The new three pf jars all look uniform in color, and still have no growth.

The older jars (older by 7 days)are not as uniform consistency. i think that 2 or 3 of my jars are too dry. It looks like i did not mix up the BRF with the vermiculite (brought to field capacity) good enough. although the other 3-4 look similar to the newer jars, b/c i mixed them two at a time.

Now for the good news, There is a booger size clump of 'white stuff' in my newer LC jar! since i haven't seen any signs of contamination in any of my jars, I'm really hoping it is Mycelium

What kind of incubation set up are you using? I was using a TIT that would dry my PF cakes before they had a chance to colonize. I went through about 16 cakes before I got the consistency right and it was still real slow. SO I moved on to WBS. I gotta say Much better.
