My brother tells me that after a mushroom trip, the body builds an immunity against psilocybin that lasts for a few days. Is this true? Would I just be wasting some mushrooms if I consumed them a day or two after my last trip? Thanks.
yes its true, although tolerance is the generally accepted term for it. immunity would imply the mushrooms would have no effect whatsoever. if, for example, you trip two days running, each time with equal doses, the second trip should be noticeably weaker.
in some cases the tolerance lasts a lot longer than a few days. i wait at least two weeks between trips so as to get the maximum effect each time.
Not only is good to space out trips because of tolerance, but I find that they have so much to offer in terms of...everything if only done once in a while. Of course, YMMV
