Brown rice to grind, must it be organic?

Hey all... I'm about to go get some brown rice to grind up for some PF-tek jars. I know that if you buy BRF from the store that it's absolutely mandatory it be organic. Does the same deal go for buying just the brown rice?

I thought the point was to make sure there was nothing like a fungicide or whatever that was added to it... but if i'm just buying the rice and grinding it myself will I just have to wash it really well if i get nonorganic or what?

I agree with Hot.... Whatever brown rice you can pick up will most likely work. Also, i used to pick up a bag, and just run it through the coffee grinder at the local supermarket... Works great, and if you end up doing this, dont worry about trace amounts of coffee that ends up in the rice flour. It never had adverse effects on my crops.
