I'm on horse dung also, nuke the dung inside microwave for 10 minutes, it works for me.

3m,
#2 is a little confusing for me.. i'm a little slow..
but how long do you keep it submerged while the water is boiling?? what exactly is steeping?
isn't boiling water too hot? i thought that it should be around 160 -180 deg. for about 2 hrs. fully submerged??
not being critical..just curious.
