I wanted to add a column to a BB table but it said the table was corrupted. The site was down while I repaired it and also changed some indexes for better performance.

hehe... that's a seperate issue entirely. Inktomi sometimes floods us with webcrawlers, but today I actually found a way to limit how frequently they can connect. Hopefully this will keep our performance good even when there's a huge number of bots on the site.
