I am new to growing, I just tried the MMGG v 3.2 and picked my first full shroom out of it. It has a dark green/blue tint at the base of the stem that turned a lot darker and moved up the stem further within 10 minutes of picking it. Is this normal? It is a regular P.F. spore from fanaticus, and there was no contamination of the mycaleum on the cake when I put it in the terarrium, but there is a VERY slight green tint in a small part of the cake now. Is there any way to tell if it is contaminated, I can post a pic tomorrow if needed. Thanks for the advice.

Im pretty sure that psilocybin brusies bluish/green. It could be from just pinching the stem to hard when picking, As for the cake, It just had a mushroom riped off of it, and Im not completly sure on this but doesent mycelium contain psilocybin also? Anybody else wanna help out on this (-;

Magical mushrooms usually bruise blue. I have never heard of green bruising. That could be trouble but you'll have to check with a few of the more experienced. This topic might go well in the contamination discussion.

sounds fine. the greenish tint is likely bluing. cakes can bruise blue as well if they are handled roughly (touching, removing fruit). if it were trich, or some mold, it would have taken longer to appear as vividly as you explain in those 10 minutes, when bruising can happen almost immediately- like you describe.
