Are there any good working with agar teks out there?

How do you properly isolate healthy myc from contams?

What is the preffered method for transferring healthy myc grown on agar to substrate?

I dont think agar is a tek, its a standard working procedure.

Takes work, but once you learn how to use it, its really not all that difficult.

Sterilizing, pouring, swiping, incubating, isolate, then reincubate, is more work than actual failure, but its worth it IMHO

Pris knows everything, but I really must recommend picking up a microbiology or book, dont read it from forums or individual writings.

It is a standard working procedure, and the best chance of success with the ability to expand, has come from legitamite college text books.

I learned from this video...I borrowed from pleezr.

Can't remember the name of the damn thing.

It was pretty funny...but it was a good learning method he taught.

I'll try and find out the name of the damn video.

Tell the guy where to find that "standard" then? :P

There are many ways leading to Rome, also many different recipies for your agar plates.

If one doesnt have a petri dish, small jars can be used. If no agar available, even BRF works as a substrate.
And so on and so on......
