normally I'm opposed to remakes, but with Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, this one could turn out pretty good

Ya Ill probaly see it---the trailer looks pretty trippy and I never did like how the chocolate pool in the orignal one looked like watered down Chocolate Milk.

Oh yea, you are right, come to think of it...I bet the new one is way trippier, because the technology sucked back then...I can't belive the string that you see on the elevator flying through the air is too obvious...but I never wanted to watch the shpw tripping, I seen it stoned on weed a few times though...but it was because I was skimming though channels on cable trying to see a good show late at night...

The new movie isn't exactly a remake of the old. Johnny Depp is playing Charlie who is all grown up and running the chocolate factory. It's more of a sequel that just took forever to make.

I think its going to be intense.. hella intense. Tim Burton makes some amazing shit, and Johnny Depp is the man. I project good things.
Im not nearly as excited about Willy Wonka as I am about hitchhiker's guide. Ill be first in line for that shit.

It actually makes more sense than any other sequel since its been about 4 decades since Charlie origially visited and was appointed king of that factory---he'd be a Willy Wonka age by now.

Yeah, it's not a sequel. The (book, Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator) took place in outerspace and it was weird. Read it as a kid, before I was doing drugs.

that computer game of alice was the shit with the graphics, i remember goin to a friends house and getting stoned playing it with him sometimes. And i heard about this charlie and the chocalate factory years ago ...they were goin to get marilyn manson to do it...that would have been the shit but they thought it would taint everything...just like i heard about freddy vs jason and aliens vs predator years and years b4 they came out.....by the way aliens vs predator was awesome and a very odd ending something i never expected ...the only thing is it was short

AVP sucked my dirty ass.
Christopher Walken would have been crazy as Willy, like in an insane way that i must see over and over again and again.
Hitchhikers guide will be, in my opinion, the most important movie ever made in the history of man kind. If you have not read the book yet, run, fight, kick, scream yourself to a bookstore and purchase it. God rest his soul.
I can not believe someone actually liked AVP. It was so stupid. Dumb Dumb Dumb. PG13. That says no to me right off the bat. You can't have AVP and a PG13, thats totally gay.

Did anyone notice in AVP how the Predators were stomping around like giants?
In teh movies, and teh books, there were quiet and stealthy, hence predators.
I laughed all through AVP.
The scene where she was reading the "heiroglyphs" and explaining the story was toatlly cheezy and didn't make any sense the way she was "translating" it....
lame scientist: "i can barely make out what its saying... but let me tell you exactly what happened using modern day cliches so the audience.. i mean, you will understand."

I saw AVP on DXM and the effects and shit were cool, but I ended up convincing my friend with me to walk out and get our fuckin money back. The plot was soo stupid. Let's have an human become friends with a predator. Fuck that. The predator should have wasted that girls ass. I guess I'm still a little pissed I wasted time on that movie....
