this is my first casing, its been in the incubator for 3 days now, so.. is it time to fruit? should i patch first?

I would definitely fruit that guy now! Actually, I would put it in the fridge for 24 housr first, then fruit. But either way, no more incubation, or you will probably get overlay. What strain, btw?

you can slightly patch it and fruit it

coldshocking has never been needed for my grows.

Ive grown 4 strains now, and EQ is colonising the straw/poo now, might give some pics in a week or 2.

You are right,  cold shocking is not needed, buy I would!  Patching won't do a damn thing if the exposed mycelium has already recieved significant light/air exposure... :smile:

Exposed to light? Thought it was still incubating. If so I would give it a slight patch, as I said, and fruit it.

In order to get great pinsets flushes, you all need to figure it out yourselves. No advice will get great pinsets/flushes. The art must be learned through experience. Don't take what anyone says as "the only way". There are many. Every strain will be different, often substrains will vary greatly. Use the information you gather here as a starting point, and you will learn the subtleties/ nuances only on your own...
