Look at Agar...Is HE wasting spores by Expermenting with his new sub.? I would think Not, and spores are so easy to come by when you make prints off your flush, unless of course you only get 1-2 fruits...:lol:

i put it in the microwave for 8 mins in a dish of water beleave me the shit worked it looks contam but not this is contam

well the one that you seen contaminated is like 3 weeks old, and the reason why its contam is cuz i opened it and look at it, stupid ass move so it contaminated but the two others are like a few days old and i only did two to experiment with and they are doing good no contams dude jus mistaked it for contames cuz the reflection on the glass makes it look dark.

2cc's of spores is like me grabbing pennies from my change jar for a piece of gum:) I have many more and could get more anytime hehe. I really like my PC tho, and personally prefer the heat/pressure combo than the heat/microwaves combo. Just a preference tho. All power to you for experimenting tho. This is a hobby, and trying new things is fun to me.

This looks like it did work.

If I can make a suggestion, I believe that microwaving the substrate 3 times, over a period of 3 days, would make it more likely to be successful. Of course you will have to use extra water. Sort of like a microwave fractional sterilization.


Of course nothing I have to say is ever worth a damn to anyone but...

I used microwave sterilization for 6 PF Jars, one got tric right right away, 1 other got some lipstick; the other 4 fruited fine.

HOWEVER:
The 3 i steam sterilized(just as easy if not easier but takes longer) none of them contamed. Out of the 3 grain jars I PC'd 1 contam'd so far but that was due to a bad syringe.

Did you grind your brf yourself? Your jars are not optimal. I know I know it IS working, but your mycel should be a much brighter white, and more dense. See the chunks of wet brf stuck to the sides of your jars? Those are difficult for the mycelium to grow on, get past. I suggest that if you do make your own brf, grind it a little finer. If not you should check your ratios, and your mixing technique.

It looks like you are doing ok, I'm only trying to help you get things going even better.

no i take in all the info i can and use it for the next project i move to, i did measure everything out and did what i had to, yes i admit the brf is not the finest but that was to late and i checked them not to long ago and they are lookin more healthy, also i plane on straing the brf to get the chunks out next time, only time will tell if this worked good. But at the same time i have no clue whats goin to happen they have colonized fast and its shocking cuz the contaminated shit was slow, but if you have any other suggestions let me kno i will use it.

You could use one of them flour spreader thingys, that bakers use, the siv with a turn handle.

ill try that the next time and get my shit correct, an also thats the reason why i only used two jars and didnt use a whole lot cuz if this tech works this is how im goin to go from now on cuz i dont have the money to get a good pc and this is less exspensive.
