Documentation?

Greetings, I was wondering for anyone that has tried... Do you find it a good a idea to document (i.e. write notes, stories, tape player, video camera) your trip? I would like to know whether these detracted from or enhanced you experience.

It's all up to the individual...sometimes I like to keep a journal of my thoughts, sometimes I don't..If you are artistic(or even if you aren't), drawing and especially pastel/cray pas artwork is great when tripping...I know many people that were uninterested in art that found a great appreciation for it while tripping...
