Should I dunk and cold shock my PF cakes before I case them?

you can dunk, but cold shock after the casing is ready to birth, not before

So I should cold shock the entire casing after myc has developed? How many days you think it would take after I make the casing before its time to shock it?

yes, after the myc, and it usually is about 3-7 days to properly colonize a casing layer, but it also depends on casing depth and incubation temps
