Pulling up weeds
    #3893820 - 03/09/05 07:22 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Yup, it's already springtime here in Vegas (86F today!) and the weeds are in full bloom. If one is not careful when pulling, one may merely end up with a handful of leaves, but not the root. When this is done half-assed, the weeds pop right back next week and it is a never-ending process.

The same with problems in our lives. Yank 'em out mercilessly by the root and you will only have to deal with them once instead of repeatedly.

This also says something about our control of situations. After all, even if you can remove all the weeds from your yard, your neighbors unkept lawns will continually reinfest yours. Unless you pave your yard into a tennis court, and keep all your plants potted, the weeds will always come back.

We need the governments help, they've always been anti-weed.

I've discovered the virtue of WEED! LOL.

So I agree, there may still be uses for the weeds we grow in our gardens. We certainly like to harvest the Jamaican weeds (I know they grow worldwide).

That's my 50 pelicans! :stoned::mushroom2:

Should I tear up my lawn and re-sod or what?
