I would like to see this. Is the PDF file a combination of text and images, or is each page just a scan? If each page is just a scan you might consider just uploading the image.

Other than that I know www.brinkster.com has free accounts that you could upload the file to, then post a link here to it. Would be slow though.

That's cool. I would like to read it. What about copyrights? Is it legal to post it here?

I think if it was put up with something citing the origin than it wouldnt be a problem.. Seems that National Geographic is made to aid in the spread of knowledge and they would appreciate seeing a 1965 copy of the mag still spreading the knowledge.

Actually, National Geographic had an earlier mushroom special which was published in 1920 by mycologist Louis Kreiger.

Here is the reference. IT was the first time a magic shroom was photogaphed in a major magazine. This time is was Panaeolus veneonosus (Panaeolus subbalteatus). Of course the picture was in black and white and back then no one really knew of the magic shrooms in the western world..

Quote:

Kreiger, Louis C. C. 1920. Common mushrooms of the United States. National Geographic vol. 37(3):387-439. May.
The earliest known published photograph of an entheogenic mushroom, Panaeolus subbalteatus which is described as Panaeolus venenosus.

Problem is is that I cannot find my copy right now.

The best way to get it out would be to make a torrent and post that torrent on a very busy torrent site, like thepiratebay, or demonoid, or another similiar site.

Grizzy, thanks for all the effort! Let me know if you know more.

I don't think we can allow that kind of copyright material on the Shroomery. If we would allow all copyright material here they would have a reason to sue the Shroomery.
