 Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds

I've been planning a music slection for my first trip, and I imagine that would be an...entertaing song to listen to on mushrooms. Has anyone here tried it? More than that, does anyone here have any favorite songs to listen to while tripping? I'm sure there have been scores of threads like this, but I figured eh, what the hell.

Respect for acknowledging that fact. I think we've probably all made this same thread.
As for "Lucy", yes, many of us have tripped to that song. Almost anything put out by a rock band in 1967 was good for tripping.

I like you sig picture, I havent seen that show for a long time, I only seen it drunk..and sober, it is a trip watching it sober even...it makes you imagine you are...but that show just reminds me of being on lucy, so they defineatly are...but it was legal back then, well before '67, that is, legal cid..that shit was THE shit too, I am sure!..I seen the show in my avatar the 2nd time all the way though tripping, but on shrooms instead....

My favorite album to listen to while tripping is Pink Floyd - Animals. But it's also my favorite cd to listen to sober....or drunk...or high.

You talking about "Yellow Submarine"? That was made in 1968. LSD was made legal on October 6, 1966. It was extremely popular at that time, though.

My girlfriend's name is Lucy (making my favorite two things in the world both named Lucy) and I remember so clearly the day after I turned her on to acid the first (and only, so far) time, one of the first things she said was "GODDAMNIT! I can't believe we didn't listen to Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds. I'm SO MAD!"

I know, it was about that time, I dont know exactly when yellow submarine came out, I just knew it was about that time...after that it seems like cid has been popular...huh?? it was just booming at that time, that's all..
