Do you ever hear new parts of a song?
    #3888732 - 03/08/05 07:49 PM (11 years, 8 months ago)

I always have my headphones hooked to my computer. They're a really nice pair of Koss. Every so often I will be listening to a song that I really like and suddenly hear a part of it that I've never heard before. A new sound in the background, or something. It happens to songs I've listened to at least a hundred times, or songs I've just been listening to for a week. Then whenever I listen to the song again the new sound stands out a little more. Weird stuff.

Yea I get that sometimes. And when I hear that new sound, I'll always notice it after that! It always slightly changes the way I feel about a song.

I find with the best music, you often find something new if you pay close enough attention or are in the right mindset.

That happens to me sometimes.  I'll be listening to song that I know by heart and all of a sudden I just notice this really kickin little drum beat in the background that I never noticed before... or a rockin' little guitar riff or something to that effect.

I feel like it happens pretty often, like you start paying attention to the textures laid into the song and little flourishes here and there you never noticed..

It happens to me all the time with Shpongle...I feel like it will never stop happening with Shpongle.

Most people hear music they don't listen to it.

Get a good pair of headphones and just sit in a dark room and really concentrate and listen to your favorite music sometime (sober or not), It'll blow your mind.

I have a pair of grado sr325's and sr80's.

I just recently noticed the computer voice saying "I may be paranoid... but.. I am... not an android" in the background of Paranoid Android by Radiohead.
