I sent in an order over a month ago, since then they have responed to one of five emails, and i have yet to hear of them shipping anything, last i heard they were "running 10 days behind" and could give me a more accurate shipping date if they had the address, which i sent to them maybe 2 and a half weeks ago. I still haven't heard anything.
Does anyone know if they are still in business? I checked their homepage a bit ago and it still said that march 2001 updates were coming soon... sigh

I noticed that almost 50 people have read this so far and no comments. Surely someone out there must have some information, good or bad. Have you recently placed an order with these guys? Were you satisfied with the service?
I'm sorry I've no information to add myself, but it's precisely this kind of uncertainty that can put people off ordering from suppliers they have no experience with. I know word of mouth counts for a lot, but those new to the community may not have enough contacts to gauge suppliers accurately, so it's up to the users of this forum to keep people as well informed as they can.
No clarification on this matter can only allow people not in the know to think the worst.

I have never ordered from the Sporechicks myself, so I cannot personally say either.
I agree that anyone who *has* would be a good man/woman in coming forth with their thoughts.
I can only offer my observation from lurking in this community for a long time - in the 'old days" newbies were routinely encouraged pretty much unanimously toward Sporechicks or Ryche Hawk to order spores from.
Nowadays, I almost *never* hear the Sporechicks recommended, and in fact, on this board I have heard nothing but bad things about them for the last couple months.
Everyone openly recommends these days, Ralph, Anno, couple others, and my personal favorite, Ryche Hawk.
All these guys (and a few more besides) deliver timely and very good merchandise, and help the community a great deal. Sporechicks on the other hand, these days all that I hear is "contam this and delay in processing order/didn't reply to emails that". I am not sure what is going on over there, but I too have grown curious.

It seems the WORD for ordering from Sporechicks lately is PATIENCE they've been having some problems, they moved their operation and then had a very large batch of syringes that were contamed BUT the GOOD WORD is that they WILL MAKE GOOD it just might take alittle extra time.
It'll work out in the meantime you may want to go to plan B..lol

hey all, my first order from them was contaminated. that
was two or three months ago, i did bitch with a few others
and the sporechicks left a reply, (its in this forum)
anyway, i got my replacment yesterday. they had to halt
production to get rid of the contam, and makesure it was
gone. im happy, all i wanted was spores, but the next time
i order i'm going to e-mail them before i order, to see if
their busy :) hang in there, they'll get to you, why dont
you try PM them here

I ordered from them about a month ago and still havent recieved my order.I emailed them around 5 times and 4 were answered(sent last email yesterday).Their replies were usually talking about delays with shipping and such.Last time i spoke to them about a week ago they said they were getting close to same day delivery again.I've been quite patient with this company but now im loosing my cool.I dont like to bash companies but the delays are straight crazy.I hope i will recieve my order within this month.This being only my second grow attempt(first time i ordered from pf and my jars unfourtantly became contamed)im pretty upset about the late order.

Me, I sent them an order about 4 weeks ago and e-mailed them over 3 days ago no response yet. I can understand if there behind just say so like its going to be a month ok I could live with that but they don't respond at all and obviously are not in the same day shipping mode like there web site says.

I ordered from them a while ago. It did take about 4 weeks for my order to arrive. The print I got was FAT and dark and just lovely though. My new Ecuadoran friends are growing up nicely now. No sign of contams yet. Give them a chance, or, if you are really in a hurry, order from Ralphster. Dude is FAST.

Damn, chix did used to rock. Better than most if you ask me. Sad to hear such negative comments, but I do know that the ckix are good folk and will make right with whatever problems they have.
Name a vendor who hasn't had a contam issue in the days I've been around, and I'll call bullshit on you. Sorry to hear they've been having problems, but they are reliable to make good.....

I would like to let you know that I recieved and email from the spore chicks yesterday telling me that i will recieve my spores but that they may not have been mail'd yet. (4 weeks as of now). And I totally understand that crap comes up, so i'm not comming down on them. It would only be right though for them to change there web site so it doesn't say same day ship out. Only take 5 min. Its the right thing to do.. just post that your 4 weeks behind. I'll keep you posted

I have ordered from them twice. First time they got it right with a quick turnaround. The second time they forgot one syringe but it was sent out the same day I told them about it.

Particularly for Europeans, I can't see the point in ordering from anyone other than Anno. Well cheap, prompt and sterile. Reponds to his emails and will resend if theirs doubt about delivery.
Just goes to show that dealing with an amateur enthusiast beats a full on business.

yeah I sent an order 2 1/2 months ago for a $100 in spores and the package never came. I e-mailed dozens of times with no reply I think they may have given up on there business. But yeah its fucking frustrating when you put faith in a company and it turns out to be bullshit

I'm just gonna add my 2 cents... before I took my little vacation from this board about 2 months ago the chicks where behind on things.... now, I'm back and they're still behind. I'd order from other vendors for the time being.... hopefully the chicks will be back up and running soon.

Its been about a month and a half and i still have no order.Last week when i emailed them they said they had sent my order out already and were gonna resend it and said i should recieve it in three days or so.Its been 9 days and still no syringe....im quite disappointed by them.I emailed them two days ago aking were my order is and im awaiting a response.

Update its been 6 weeks now no spores for me, they told me back at week 4 that my spores would be in the mail, and whats with them not responding to mine and everyone elses email doesn't take long to respond to peoples emails and they never respond. I've accepted the fact that i got ripped off
