sometimes you are there from the beginning and sometimes youre not.

maybe you thought floyd just wasnt the same without syd or you heard the dead at an acid test. i didnt.

but it is always nice when your favorite band makes it big.
or when a bunch of jocks hijack your scene.

i remember when i was 14 walking down the street screaming kid rock songs and telling everybody how they really had to listen to him, and then 5 years later wishing i had kept my big fat mouth shut. oh well, they made fun of me in 93 and i made fun of them in 98.

so some of my choices have been dubious.

here are some more

i mooned limp bizquick right after faith hit the air. knew they were crap then, and time has proven me right.

sublime, jumped on that one after brad died. but i bet you did too.

i used to go see the dropkick murphys about once a month before their 1st album came out. had all the eps on vinyl but thought they went downhill after mccooligan left.

had an advance copy of the postal service that i made a copy of for everybody i know. (was never a dcfc fan though)

i remember singing along to brick in the wall on an 8track when i was about 3 or 4 years old.

i jumped on the flaming lips (after yoshimi), radiohead (after ok), the beatles (after i started smoking pot)

im sure there are a lot more
there is no shame in not being the first person to hear a band.
so what bands have you jumped on the wagon for and who have you been there from the beginning for???

we hope that you choke

If you're not actually IN the band, you're jumping on the bandwagon as soon as you start listening to them.
