I grew about 4 dry ounces of Ryches Lipa Yai strain on the 10lb DB and the shrooms looked great but when my friends and I decided to partake they were absolute garbage.
I started with my normal dose of 3-1/2 grams...nothing.
A week later just for kicks me and 2 friends ate 9 grams each and only got a stomache ache.
Since then I've tried various doses from different flushes dried all different ways and still not a tingle.....W T F!!!
The shrooms look totally normal, bruise blue and everything...?

We loved them We ate about 2 grams and then our usual 2 grams after 1-2 hours and it was mind blowing.
What drying methods did you use??
I loved all 3 strains
And I am awaiting the 4th right now.
I hane some pink buffalo prints and some cambo prints if you would like to take a stab at them if you have not already

I used my dehydrator for most.....but for the real big badasses I used the damp-rid dry chamber.
I've used the dehydrator on all the other strains I've grown with no problems.
This was a huge letdown...to have all these shrooms with the DB kit and get no effects....I can't even give them away.

try eating them totally fresh..i bet theyll knock your socks off..i dont know what it is about drying..maybe its just something im doing but everytime i dry using a fan and damp rid it always drains the potency..

That is the strangest thing I've heard of.
I've eaten the Thai Lipa Yai's over a dozen times with many friends each time. Also grown out on DB compost which will make them more potent then standard substrates.
I've always found the Lipa yai, along with all the thailand strains to be exceptionally potent. More so then most cubensis strains. I've had a few friends that said the thai's were almost to strong for them.
I would ask if maybe your on some sort of anti-depressant medicine that effects your seritoin levels, but you say you friends experience the same thing. Were you guys doing any other form of drugs... such as cocaine or glass? I've seen quite a few ppl barely get off, or have a bad trip because they mixed these drugs with mushrooms.
I'm not sure what to tell you on this one. I can assure you the thai lipa yai's are very potent as other ppl above testified. Unless maybe their was some bacteria harboring in the compost that caused the mushrooms to convert its energy to fighting it off instead of producing high levels of psilocybin. That is about the only genetic explanation I can think of and I'm not even sure about that.
