I was just reading a post from uma, about using autoclavable bags, the pan. cyans., and pan. trops. Well what can i use in place of those bags? I have an 8qt.p.cooker(i think)...heh.
Also i don't have a airtight sealer...or anything even close.
Does this mean i have to consider using a diffirent tek?

If the pressure cooker won't seal, you don't have a pressure cooker. I'd stick with PF substrate.

I don't think he means the cooker won't seal..
I think he means he doesn't have an impulse
sealer to seal the bags...

I do have a p.cooker....very nice might i add. I don't have ant type sealer...to seal the bags. However i took down some notes on a substrate that i might be able to use. using brf, verm, and dung, all in 1/2 pint jars. Anyone think this is good enough to use like this for pan. cyans./pan.trops.?

Half pint jars with dung in them work great for pans, just use them to inoculate another bulk substrate or you can just crush up the jars and case them.
