Newbie Questions!

hey fellas
ive been hanging around fo a while just reading trying to absorb everything and theres quite a bit! Props to the people making this place a great source of reliable info!

OK, so this is what i need to know:

1) I have heard that contaminated cakes will not grow mushrooms. Therefore it is safe to eat the shrooms produced on all cakes, regardless of any signs of contams. Is this treu?

2) What substrate has had the best results (yeild, potency) when used with the MMGG??

3) I havent graduated to the stage of growing in an aluminium pan yet (as i saw for the first time on this forum), but when I do get there is there a good step by step tek that will help me out? Something similar to the mmgg would help me out quite a bit.

Again, props to the people who keep this forum ruinning!

2. standard PF substrate or the substrate given in the MMGG.
