Ok, this is really aggrevating

I've got some perlite in the oven, 250F, been in there for about 30mintues and it's still kinda wet, should I spread it out more and make it less deep (4in pan is full w/ it)...

And should I up the temp. maybe?

I dislike using and reusing perlite... ><

I think I remember reading about reusing it in a faq or something though?

Perlite=Cheap
Perlite=No electricty but can reach about 95% humidty about
Perlite=Can be washed/cleaned/dried and stored for later used

I use it until it's sand looking and can't be messed with anymore lol.

Anyone else? This perlite's pissing me off now haha. Tnkx

Need more surface area exposed in that pan, try to spread it out over several pans in the oven if you can; it will dry faster.

I used to dry it out in the oven like that, worked pretty good. A couple years back I lost my patience with perlite and never touched it since--the stuff is too much of a pain in the ass to work with in my opinion.

The advantages you listed are very true though.

Yea, i've got a PmP going now, So Manuel Perlite isn't really esscential, but I like to just have some around just in case for whatever, and thankx, i'll spread it and see how it goes :thumbup:

I've never reused it. To cheap to bother cleaning it, and all that jazz....know what I mean?

Yea, i know what ya mean.

Peeps say it's to messy, it's messy i agree, but it's pros out do it's cons....But its more so for manuel FC's than Automatued systems...So lava rocks and my PmP will do me well :thumbup:
