In the morning I drink Lassi and consume cayenne.I drink Lassi because its very nutritious and light and has very digestible proteins and is rich in calcium, magnesium and potassium and helps my body to start the day with a good electrolyte balance and plenty of vitamins and minerals.
I take cayenne in the morning for the epinephrine and norepinephrine stimulating effects.(And yes it is tested and proven scientifically)It mostly stimulates the adrenals to produce more adrenaline in other words. Its helpful because I often suffer from fatigue and general lack of energy in winter(and extended low sunlight conditions) due to Seasonal Affective Disorder.

There are dozens of variations of Lassi.Although I will warn everyone that if yogurt is already sweetened you do NOT need that much sugar to sweeten it.Lmao.Also besides the traditional plain yogurt other flavors make for convenient and easy flavored Lassi.I use vanilla and strawberry most often. Its great also for those who are on the run.Its hard to eat yogurt with a spoon while running around town or being quite busy but throwing lassi into a thermos or sportsbottle makes it easy.
I swear by milk and fermented milk drinks (such as lassi) for quicker recovery from shock, strain, illnes and even weighlifting.
For commercial plain yogurt I recommend one tablespoon of sugar per 8 oz. I think the recipe refers to homemade yogurt which is much more tart and requires more sugar as Ive discovered.More often though I sweeten it with honey instead of sugar as it is much healthier and doesnt alter the taste of the lassi.
Some people also blend fruit into lassi.

i'm really fond of a smoothie using acaii berries from Sambazon (www.sambazon.com) - do yourself a favor and look 'em up, you can give 'em your zip and they'll send you a list of the closest vendors.
peace.

I drink soy milk because it is good for the prostate, is healthy in general, and tastes delicious. It has 7 grams of protein per serving.
I also take Omega 3 Fish Oil, Vitamin E, St John's Wort, and a multivitamin.

I'm shocked that no one has admitted to going to Starbucks for a dopio expresso yet.

Well I sometimes drink the free decaf coffee provided on Sundays. I used to drink teh regular, but imbibing caffeine accentuates my anxiety, gives my heart palpatations, makes me nauseous, depressed, worsens my concetration level, makes miserable, but also a little horny. I hate that shit; coffee is overrated.

btw what is up with Canadians and Egg Salad? When I was watching BEV for a while I used to see Tim Horton's commercials for egg salad sandwiches all the time. Egg salad is definately not that popular here in the States. I don't think I've seen a single egg salad commercial here in my entire life.
