Im glad to know atleast one person watched it. I would have lost a lot of faith in this forum if it would have plummeted to the depths of obscurity without being seen by a few.

This one is amazing too: the last vid on the page. i wonder if the initial speedy strobing is a camera side effect, though.

here too, this one's also good. http://www.tonmo.com/images/vids/CFvsFish.MPG

That was a crazy video man. It looks fake. I can't imagine how that fish could blend into that bush thing that easily. Thanks.

No, they strobe like that im told. It could be that effect you get when you videotape a television, and then watch it on the videotape. Never seen one in real life though. Good to know how to spell it correctly now....Cuttlefish.

I think it's actually 'cuttlefish', but cuddlefish sounds pretty friendly.

yes, i corrected myself above about Cuttlefish.

I am seriously thinking about saving up money to get a saltwater aquarium and get two of these things. I could charge admission to see these things.

I actually just found out that is an octopus vulgaris, the common species of octopii. I just wrote some guy who calls himself dr ceph and seems to be the leading mind on cephalopods. Ill post the whole email when/if he responds.

It doesnt just appear out of nowhere, ceph's can change even the texture of their skin and use little "fingers" to push up their skin and make it look like coral or seaweed. Im seriously thinking about getting either an octopus or a cuttlefish. I even found out that they can be trained to do stuff, like hand feed and even recognize their handlers and show affinity for them. Think about the hours of bewilderment one of these ceph's could give tripping or not!
