I f you are serious about doing agar, get agar agar, dextrose, malt extract and some yeast extract.
Then yuu can make both agars and many more.
You should regulary change your agar formula so that the mycelium doesn?t get used to one formulation.

You are so helpful always Anno. I have at my fingertips agar, dextrose and yeast extract. Can anyone direct me to a recipe using these ingredients?
This is my idea:
3g yeast extract
5g dextrose
7g bacteriological grade agar
500ml h2o

Anything else? Quantities look right?
