Hmmm.....
This thread has been, well, interesting. I am amazed at the number of posts in this thread. Dimitri et al, y'all have been more than enough help is trying to give this young man a concept of the task and scale at hand at hand. I myself would not help anyone who openly admits he will be a drug dealer if he is sucessful at growing shrooms...whatever....I guess drug dealers obviously have there place in life....I have certainly made use of them in the past.

notstable....I would say this is an understatement. If you have not taken anything from this thread let it be this: You have had several expirienced growers telling you that you must start small and learn something before you try to grow pounds of shrooms. You insist that you will be sucessful in your pounds. Show us something....or go away.

I must say that I LOVE the bed idea. But an idea is something you can daydream about (an I did daydream about seeing that ..lol). Putting a plan into action and succeeding is another thing. A few of the folks who have posted here could probably pull it off. Quite frankly, I would like to see you pull it off if for nothing else but the pics. That would indeed be grand! I have my doubts for you however. Why not start out with a rubbermade tub first? This could easily get you a few onces if done properly. Wouldn't it break your heart to get half way through the bed project and fail because of lack of knowledge? May I suggest B+ over the PF strain for such a large. You are going to need a shit load of spawn. You MUST abort on the idea of innoculating such a large amount of substrate with crumbled cakes...Whaahaaahaaa. Use those cakes to make quart shakables of rye or some other suitable grain. A waterbed, hmmmm, perhaps 20 quarts of spawn might do it for you. It will take you a while to get all your spawn ready. Perhaps this will give you enough time to plan your project.

I still would agree with the other expirienced growers here and strongly encourage you to start smaller. You no doubt will have some mishaps. Don't let one spoil everything by having all your eggs in one basket. You can take the knowlege you learn an apply it to the bed project...
