Need some help....

I had some heat and humidity problems caused by a short in a electrical cord. fixed that and decided to roll the dice and see what happens to my critters. Well, things did progress and the critters pinned. But they pinned like nothing I have ever seen before. Bright white and fuzzy while growing from pins to buttons, and as they matured they grew real tall on bright white, flimsy stalks with dark grey, fibrous and fuzzy caps. Just what the hell is going on? These were supposed to be EQ's. Obviously they are not... Any suggestions besides trashing the lot and giving it another go ??? These stranger shrooms also croak off in light.(real fast).

seems a little weird, but the fuzziness you describe, that still allows the shroom to mature, is probably a response to a tad high of humidity, not a contam, since almost universally, a contam that advanced would slow groath of the shrooms to a halt and there would be numerous defective looking shrooms.

do some reading on directly adding moisture to the mycelium instead of the terrarium. try to simplify the terrarium. the fancy set-up doesn't always do any better.
