lonely patch of TX forest shrooms

Well after a lengthy walk in the forest across from my house, I only spotted one group of mushrooms. I've never seen this type before when hunting so it was a nice surprise. Pic attached below..I would post more but I'm late for work, enjoy

ahh I miss texas this time of year, in the austin area (bastrop)
was just incredible ,mile's and mile's of beautiful piney wood's and field's filled with all kind of life in and around what a beautiful
place this time of year........I love the flowers and plant's in the
spring in texas .enjoy yourself. super-d

thanks ant, i do enjoy long walks in the woods around my area as i usually find some very interesting plants and fungi on each trip. eris, i didn't actually bring home a cap to get a spore print from, but i did lay down on the ground to see the gill structure underneath (these were growing on a log about half a foot from the ground) the gills were white and fine with very little space between each.
