Spelunking
    #3875422 - 03/06/05 01:56 AM (14 years, 21 days ago)

Here in central Texas there's a lot of caves nearby... what do you shroomers think of tripping while on a tour of a cave? Around here we have natural bridge, inner space, cave without a name, longhorn, cascade.. I bet people who haven't been to these caves are thinking I'm crazy, but these are caves with good trails..no crawling in the mud or very cramped spaces. people around central texas who are interested in caves will especially understand what I'm talking about.. people say tripping in nature is the best...what does everyone think?

I've been through a few cave tours before.
Sounds like a decent idea.

Would these be tours with other people not bemushroomed? If so I myself would rather tour the caves myself. A cave sure would be an amazing experience

spelunking refers to scuba diving in underwater caves.... dont think you wanna do that when trippinz. Also if you do go bring alot of damn rope so you can find your way out.

I wouldn't do any advanced spelunking while tripping, because you rely on machinery, and you shouldn't operate that type of shit while under the influence. SOme novice cave dwelling... on the other hand...

A spelunker explores caves. There is a big difference between exploring caves and scuba diving in caves. Scuba I would not reccomend except to an extremely exprienced tripper. However, anyone should be able to enjoy a good dose and some cave walking. Should be an amazing setting.

Verb 1. spelunk - explore natural caves

I'm talking about commercial caves, with pathways, nice lighting on the formations. I'm not talking about wriggling through tight spots with a hardhat and light.. if anyone has ever gone a cave tour whilst tripping, I'd love to hear about it.

Never been tripping in a cave, but I always get high whenever I go into a really big one. Not from smoking pot but I just get naturally high feeling. Very neat. I am sure you would have a very spiritual experience in a cave.
