Friends with benefits

Meaning friends who have sex.
I have been in friendships like this and it was cool. I felt no romantic attachments. I did not get jealous or pissed if the girl in question started dating some guy or decided that the "benefits" should end. Yet, it seems to me that the girls usually are more "attached". They are more likely to get pissy or jealous if you start seeing someone else.
Can girls have a "friends with benefits" relationship and not develop an attachment?

I think it's totally dependent on the person. I'm a guy, but I'm not so sure I could hang with being friends with benefits and not get too attached. By the same token, I'm sure there are many girls out there who could hang with that easily.

I have had a couple of those types of "relationships" with men who were considered to be nothing but friends. I don't think there is anything wrong with this. If the other person is reacting ignorant about the situation, then that's when it should end.

It's funny I used to think I was one of those girls that could handle that type of relationship, but as I got older I don't know if I just learned otherwise about myself, or simply matured.

Yeah, i dunno, it may be possible. But i think that's pretty rare, especially in the long run. Actually, every single relationship like that I've known about like this has failed horribly. Some fairly quick, some just took a little longer. And then their friendship ended along with the fucking.

Fuck buddies! I'm personally against it. I don't want to willingly give myself to someone I don't love.

It can get weird I guess, I'm kinda in a "relationship" like that now. It gets kind of ambiguous, but she's a cool girl so it's all good .
