I was reading over some old posts and was thinking of useing mm filter disks and pc cpu fans to aid the air exchange
in my rubbermade growth chamber. i havent gotten my filterdisks yet but would there be enugh air flow through them to mae a makeshift air filter. if so i was thinking 4 fans on top 4 on bottom. bottom 4 to pull old air out and top 4 to force new air in. useing filter disks to keep contams out. all hooked up to timers and a ultrasonic to keep the humidity in check
thinkit will work? maybe with a diff type of air filter
iduno just thinking out loud again
oh ya what about hydroperoxide can it be used in making of cakes?

CPU fans can be really powerful. you should check how many cubicfeet a minute the one your using blows, and the RPMs. you may only need 1 fan

In my home-made glass glove box, I have dryer vents as arms with gloves on the ends. When I move my arms it causes the air volume in the glove box to fluctuate. So I put a F. P. filter disc over a hole to allow for a sterile pressure equalize vent. I found that the disc resists the flow of air through itself to a greater degree than I expected. The pressure changes are alleviated primarily through small gaps around my lid. Sometimes I tape the lid and that probably increases the amount of air that passes through the filter disc.

My point is that they have a lot of resistance and will only be the primary source of air movement if your the chamber they are acting as a filter for is completely air tight other than your filter holes.

Completely straightup downright digging it. Can you dig it?
