how long is too long

i usually sterilize my rye grain jars for about 1-1.25 hrs at 15-20 psi......contamination is pretty low ..say..1/10.. but, if i were to let sterilze say another 10-30 min would this HELP eliminating contams or is that just too long????

Soaking the rye for 12 hours before pressure cooking might help.
