Hey You Guys!!

Hey I just got a quick q. for you guys. I am about to make up my casing layer(coir/verm). Do you think I should put in an oven bag and PC it, if not what method would you use( I'm not worried about what takes to much time. I want to do it right, as everything has been going good so far for me :smile:

)? And also I was thinking coir60%/verm40% sound good? Thanks for your help.

I do 50/50 and pack it into quart jars as thick as I can, and PC for about an hour and a half... You can fluff it up when you're gonna use it, and one quart of casing like this will work for 6 gladwares... Just my .02.. :stoned:

tried microwaving before but the cobweb comes but hey thats just me, also i use straight coir verm gets messy and sticks to the inside of jars/bags but hey its cheaper. adding a little lime never killed anybody either low magnesium lime that is.

Yea I just pced mine in quart jars... man the name of this post reminded me of the Goonies. Remember when Sloth is running into the cavern with the pirate ship in it (he's running after the kids) then he shouts out to them, "Heeeeeeeeyyy yoooooooouuuuuuu guuuuuuuuuys!!" oh man
anyways that was my favorite part.
