Verm in Substrate or Not
    #3867096 - 03/04/05 11:25 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

Hi everyone,

been quite some time since ive posted, and cultivated. Got my own apartment now and so, Id like to start over again.
I live in Vienna now, and luckily MMushrooms.org is also situated here. I popped by today to get some Verm , and ended up having a nice colloquial chat with them. They told me, that putting verm into the substrate would be a great thing. To this present day Ive always used straight rye and it worked fine.
Now, does anyone have comments on putting verm into the substrate? If you reckon its a good Idea, you might even want to give me a ratio!

Thanks very much in advance,
Jazz

More for the ordinary cultivation section I presume.

Verm in substrate will hold moisture better then substrate (like rye) alone.

Remember the PF cakes?

ya, verm isn't a bad idea, nor any other additives such as worm castings.
