setup

Here is the setup that I am using now, not currently in use, but soon to be....
Any comments ... aside from "get a $#*$(#&&* ultra sonic/cool mist humidifier?"
All standard 2x 45L clear plastic containers, 2" perlite & 1.5" tap water on bottom. Filtered air outlet 1" above perlite level for C02 exhast.
THis is the only difference from standard:
Air pump runs to coke bottle which is laying on its side, half filled with perlite/water/dash of h202 - humidified air is pumped into the top of each container, with a timer so I can adjust the amount of air exchange.
Questions that I hope someone can answer:
Is this overkill on humidity? I dont have a humidity gauge, although Im thinking of getting a humidistat.
If this is an ok (albeit cheapass) method for introducing fresh air and maintaining humidity ----> would it be a good idea to introduce the fresh air in little jets along the bottom of the container.... or put another way: is there a better method of introducing the fresh air.
THanks for letting me pick your brain

Yep thats a good way to do it. If you want to go through the trouble you can put little jets throughout the grow environment but that deviation doesn't make a very significant difference when your using an air pump.
