death and shrooms
    #3866645 - 03/04/05 06:46 AM (11 years, 8 months ago)

my mates grandad died yesterday, and although he says it doesn't bother him, he has a history of bottling this shit up.

Ive heard the shroom will make you confront this sorta thing head on, and I'm not sure he could take that. My girlfriend says "its up2 him" but I'm not sure what to do bout this. I'm certainly having a long talk before we do anything.

Any suggestions, similar experiences, or ideas are welcome in this troubling time.

Thanks all

If he was close to his grandfather and I was his friend I'd encourage him to avoid psychedelics for at least a month or so. I'd also advise against hitting the bottle. I think maybe one bong hit and some friendly conversation over some good tunes is more the way to go.

What is this? It is a prolate spheroid, an elongated sphere in which the outer leather casing is drawn tightly over a somewhat smaller rubber tubing. Better to have died as a small boy than to fumble this football.

-John Heisman

"I didn’t dive on one fumble because the way my leg was (positioned)," Newton told reporters in Charlotte on Tuesday. "It could have been contorted in a way. You say my effort? I didn’t dive down. I fumbled - that’s fine. That’s fine. We didn’t lose the game because of that fumble.”

-Scam Newton

Yer I agree with Thefakesunra , if your buddy is saying he's fine and then all you can do is talk to him about random stuff keeping the ball in the air... He'll talk one day... but taking shrooms when it's not your own idea, can weird... especially if he wants to be alone...

to be honest his family are basically the old London mob scene. Hanging round with the crays and the like (sounds like bollocks but I swear its true). He always said he never knew any of that side of his family really anyway. But still dealing with mortality is a powerful experience in itself. I'm not sure whether the shroom might help him deal with it, or simply fuck him up completely.

Anybody heard of any similar situation?

he's been keen to try shrooms properly ever since we did truffles a couple of weeks ago. we've got 100g, but I might freeze half, even though it becomes class A if I do (Damn judiciary!). Still 25g a piece is pretty serious stuff (Burmese Yangoon's by the way).

ARE YOU MAD!!! course its fresh, 25g of dried might just fuck me up, and I'm a pretty damn stable guy!! lol.

Obviously it's fresh, bought them from www.redeyefrog.co.uk (possibly the funniest website I've heard of) heard good things about these Yangoon's, apparently very visual (mate was disappointed with truffles, only 10g each, didnt see anything just analysed the fuck out of Blue Velvet and a shitty BBC drama!)

Don't freeze fresh shrooms, they turn to slime. Dry them instead... or they'll keep for 7 days in the fridge.

That is some good advice man.
