Yeah that sounds silly to me. I can drink a case of 12 oz. cans, but not hold 40oz. in one bottle.
Anyone know the rationale behind the law? (something to do with Malt liquor, perhaps?)

The 8 oz. does make a difference, but yeah -- 2 quarts is more, anyway. The reason I ask is because I'm in GA all the time and I like to bring back cases of them, but I was just wondering if this is legal or not.
