i have heard alot about it, especialy from our own kind kesey
i have always wanted to try it but i lack the gps unit you need to partake in such a game

but gps or no gps i found one
durring my normal elf like adventures in the woods above my house i found a small tuperwere container containing all sorts of stuff and directiona on how geo caching works
 what an awsome surprise. i took a button that says "worlds cutest leprechaun" and a sponge bob pez thing

i think i may just have to save up some cash and get in on the fun

Once I get a GPS I'm gonna stash some extremely cool shit in some very remote and hard to access places.  In the vast expanses of the Southwestern US I know of many remote areas where I could do it.  I'll probably use miles of remote 4X4 roads followed by a hike of several miles.  Not sure what to stash yet, but I'll definately make it worth while for someone.  And I'll also leave a self-addressed stamped post card for them to drop in the mail after they've found it. That way I'll know when its been found!

I just got a GPS last week. I've been using it when I drive around town and figuring out how it works. Can't wait to locate some caches in the local parks.

A lot of cellphones these days have GPS built in.....

Geocaching is awesome, my friend has done a lot of it. He has found lots of drugs too.

I like geocaching hiking T-shirts from REI or other places with spore prints all over them. I leave a note saying that they are from "edible" mushrooms, and encourage the person to wear the shirt on a hike so that the spores get caught in the wind.

Origianlly I thougt you left spore prints for people togrow that were mislabeled. I was quite annoyed, but then after rereading your post I realized that you put the prints on the shirts so the spores would float around. The straw hat effect. My mistake.

I'm not a fan of the phones with GPSs built into them..... too easy for The Man to track your movements and whereabouts. You'd probably think nothing of taking your GPS cellphone to a deal, but I know I'll never be taking my GPS unit on a drug run. Just wait until most new cars start coming with GPS standard.... Yikes!

All cellphones made after 2001 have gps. So unless you have some oldschool piece of shit huge nokia from 1999, then you have a gps chip in your phone.
