Outdoor grow minus the cold

Hey everyone, kind of a simple Q i guess

I know that the freezer can kill Myc.
Freezing temp=32F....

Well I want to use some spent cakes and I can't kept them in this lil jar forever.

I basically just put used sub.(it's not much really, like about a pint's worth) and I wanted to mix it with some sterilyzed sub. and grow it outdoors, i don't need to follow moe's tek b/c i get the basic idea and im not really worried about growing them anyways so let me get to the question :smirk:

If I bury them and the temps stay in the 40s-50s(at night)(60s-high70s in the day), would the myc. slowly die? I could mist the sub. every so often (if it colonizes slowly which im sure it will, then water will deplet and be needed for a longer period of time and that's where ill step in....might not help much tho cuz i'll be spraying the top lol, but you get the idea)
So would it be alright to get these babies on the way and see what happens? I'm sure that it'll be awhile till they fruit, I just want to know if these constant temps will kill(not stall, who cares about stalling when ur using spent cakes :smirk:) the myc.
