Where can I find good prices for a package like this. Need website recommendations and waht this stuff is actually listed under. Got cable box and S-video connection and that is all for my 52 inch!!!...got to get it on wheels and Best Buy Rips you off.

i would hook it up to a computer. you would have dvd/cd player, tv, radio, visualization programs, free tivo, and everything else a computer is capable of for the same you'd spend on what you asking about. they make really good speakers for computers that are pretty cheap too :stoned:

I agree with John. I'm using Klipsch pro audio surround and it sounds pretty good, I think you would have to have one hell of a video card to push that much picture, though. 52 in. plasma!!! Damn, that's huge. I'm jealous.

Ya Im an idiot...I buy this shit thinkin everything comes with it and now Im just trying to get the thing running. I might want to get the connection to my computer later but for now I jsut want a basic Reciever/DVD/CD setup with speakers. 5.1 is cool but Im remodeling my cottage (guest house) and I wont be able to wire a 5.1 sorround system till after Im done. Stereo is good for now I just dont want go to Sound Advice or some shit to get ripped off.

If you hook it up with your computer, I seriously recommend logitech z680 speakers. Its a kickass 5.1 surround sound system. I bought it from Amazon for I think $250 around a year ago. Worth every penny. These are high end speakers comparable to systems costing well over twice as much. Plus they are THX certified. The only thing that sucks for me is that I live in an apartment and can't enjoy the full power of my system.

www.crutchfield.com

I've never used them personally, but my brother says their customer service is sub-par.

And I prefer Infinity for car or home audio. I've had really good results with them.

I can vouch for the logitech z680's excellent surround sound for the price, you can probably find them for 225 or less no problem online.

If you like bass the subwoofer throws out a good amount.

I challange anyone to find better speakers for the price.

Me being the cheapass I am I use them on my TV.

They also decode pro logic II and dolby DTS and 5.1. Plus when you decide to buy a new setup you can put them on your computer :stoned:

Don't use crutchfield, Way overpriced. Just use the yahoo shopping seach engine or froogle.
