Hey.. I'm new to the board, and new to growing. Would anyone be able to send me some info on how to start growing? I have spores, petri dishes, agar, everything. I need to know how to mix agar. how much water and agar? how do i mix the vermiculite and the rice flour? and how do you set up the terrarium? any help would be much appreciated.

Go to the Grow/Find section of the Shroomery, there you will find the answers to all your questions. Then come back if you still got questions.

Sheeeet, you cant be that new if your starting out with agar. Why arent you starting out with something like MMGG or PF tek. BTW all the info you need to grow is right here my friend all you gotta do is dig alittle....

I`d stay with jars and substrate to start off. agar and petri dishes are a lot harder toi keep contams out and you will probably get dicouraged.. here`s the best 2 links for newbies out there I think... sure helped me out in the beginning Magi Mushroom Grower`s Guidehttp://www.psykedelbok.se/MMGG.HTM#Spores
