Cold Cathode tube?

I have used the search function and scoured through the results, but all I want is a single answer.

Can I use my duel-tube blue cold cathode light on a 12/12 cycle to initiate pinning?

Also, would switching from small amounts of normal sunlight to this be bad?

i use a one it works fine, and i doubt it will cause any problems when switching.

Can I get someone to second that? It will be the only source of light and they have all pinned, I just want them to grow in the same direction.

Your light will work fine. It won't cause any trauma to your mushrooms when you switch to regular sunlight.

Should I cover the sides of my fruiting chamber with something and then cut a hole in the top and cover the holes with plastic wrap, then just lay the cathodes on them?

I take it that your fruiting chamber is transparent. If so, cover the sides and just lay the cathodes on top. If not, cut out a square on the top of your chamber, cover with plastic wrap, and put your cathodes on top.

Cover the container, cut a hole in the lid...cover it with transparent plastic wrap. Attach light.

Is it alright if I use the attachments the light came with and just attach it to the underside of the lid so I don't have to cut? Or will the moisture destroy the lights?

The transformer will be on the outside of the box though.

If your transformer is on the outside, it shouldn't be much of a problem. But as a rule of thumb, I try not to mix electric appliances and water (as I don't know much about them). If you feel confident that it won't start a fire, go for it...if you don't...follow my advice above.

Yes, I'm a projector. Not an entirely good one, however. I usually either overshoot (DMT) or undershoot (sober) my destination. :grin:

Yeah, it's undeniably projection. Under the effects of tryptamines/phenethylamines it's just much harder to direct yourself because of the immensity of it all. If you can learn to harness (which I am far from being able to do) the energy released with these chemicals, you would be able to consistantly reach samadhi/nirvana/heaven/etc...it has been suggested that you probably cease to exist 'here' when this happens.

Mushrooms are more easily harnessed than DMT. Note that I said "more easily" and not "easily". :grin:
